Born on June 24 1988, Nichkhun is Thai-Chinese. Nichkhun was initially brought up in California in the USA. At the age of two he moved to Thailand with his family, but moved back to the United States to finish schooling.
He passed an audition hosted by JYP Entertainment, and signed an eight-year contract with the company.
